Hirsch Summary
A large number of fish had been heavily salted and then prepared. During consumption, it was discovered that a large fish had not been gutted or filleted. Inside its belly was a small, fatty fish that was forbidden to eat. While the small fish had more than sixty times the blood content required for the entire fish dish, the same was not true for the large fish, which might have absorbed the fat from the small fish due to the strong salting. David b. Jacob de Meza emphasizes that as long as there is sixty times the blood content relative to the forbidden fish, the dish is allowed.
