Hirsch Summary
Someone sent a divorce document (get) to his wife, who lived in a neighboring city. The Beth-Din (rabbinical court) found minor spelling errors in the document, such as the correct spelling of a specific word. There was disagreement about whether to deliver the divorce document in this condition. Some argued in favor, citing that other divorce documents were delivered with similar errors, and unforeseen circumstances could occur even with such a short distance. Others disagreed. Chija Cohen de Lara ruled that if unforeseen circumstances were possible, the divorce document should be delivered.
