Hirsch Summary
Someone stipulated on their deathbed that his three sons, A, B, and C, should inherit equally. The dowry of A's wife was to be invested at an interest rate of 6% as long as she remained in the business. If B and C also brought their wives' dowries into the business, they would be entitled to the same interest rate. Samuel ben Salomo a Catan decided that this arrangement did not violate the Torah's prohibition against charging interest.
