Hirsch Summary
Two slices of kosher meat were salted together with a slice from a non-kosher animal. Two slices were cut up and cooked together, and the third slice was put into another pot with a chicken. Then, the mistake was noticed. The rabbi Aron Ledesma forbids both dishes, but the chicken dish is only forbidden if the entire dish, including the broth, is not sixty times the volume of the meat slice; if that is the case, the slices are also permitted. Both pots are considered non-kosher [the chicken pot is not considered non-kosher if the forbidden piece becomes nullified]. The salt board should also be made kosher ('kashered').
