Hirsch Summary
A Jew purchased broken silverware from a non-Jew who was mute. Among these items, a perfectly preserved object related to non-Jewish worship was found. The Jew, who had not yet brought the items into his home, wanted to cancel the purchase. However, the mute person did not agree. According to the ruling of Moses Gomes de Mesquita, the Jew can ask the mute person or another non-Jew to remove the religious item.
