Hirsch Summary
An animal had been ritually slaughtered (shechita), and the ritual slaughterer (shochet) had declared it permissible for consumption. Later, others discovered a hole in the diaphragm of the animal. Jacob ben Abraham Bassan permits the consumption of the animal if the hole is not surrounded by white threads.
