Hirsch Summary
A widow neither claimed her ketubah nor took the widow's oath. When she fell ill, she gifted all her gold and silver items to her married daughter. After her death, the heirs of her deceased husband demanded that the daughter return the items. In line with a response from Rabbi Isaac ben Sheshet, physician David ben Jacob de Meza ruled that only the items brought into the marriage by the mother belonged to the daughter.
