Hirsch Summary
This case involves a merchant who conducted business in the countryside and went missing. Near a city he frequented, the body of a murdered Jew was found, and the local Jews buried him. Some time later, a non-Jew was discovered wearing the missing merchant's attire. This man was apprehended by authorities, tortured, and executed after confessing to being a highway robber. The murdered man's wife inquires whether she may remarry. Moses Gomez de Mesquita denies her request. See references 463 and 924.
