Hirsch Summary
A used to make his purchases of silk and dye from B. He often paid with sealed pouches of money, which B didn't usually count. When B passed one of these pouches along, a shortfall of 39 florins was discovered. Upon confrontation, A claimed he had paid the full amount. He personally weighed the pouch and found it to be accurate. Samuel Mendes de Sola demands an oath from A regarding his statement. If A refuses to swear, then B would have to swear that the disputed amount was indeed missing.
