Hirsch Summary
A had two sons; one, B, was a Torah scholar, married, and did not live in his father's house, while the other, C, was unmarried and lived with the father. A had stipulated that his books should be given to "his son." B based his claim on this, arguing that the father meant him, the Torah scholar; C argued that since he was the one still living with his father, he was the intended recipient. [Joseph] ben Moses Alvares decides that the books belong to the scholar.
