Hirsch Summary
A number of kosher sausages were confiscated by the city customs authority. The sausages remained in the custody of the customs office until after the court's decision. When they were later released, the question arose whether they could still be eaten. Joseph ben Moses Alvares tends to allow this since the sausages were recognized by their number, weight, and appearance and had been held by the customs administration. This decision should have been published in Tebeth. It appears on Lag B'Omer 5564. The query is verbatim from Book ??? ???? by David ben Raphael Meldola II, 3.
