Hirsch Summary
The friend of a deceased person, who had not appointed a guardian, took care of the orphans and their property. He collected the debts and supported the orphans with the income. When the children grew up, he handed over their property, but despite their request, he couldn't provide an account. He had only kept their property separate but hadn't kept books. Solomon ben Isaac Saruco imposes an oath on the guardian that he has not stolen anything.
