Hirsch Summary
Someone had trousers made from fabric he provided, while the tailor supplied the lining. When the man wore the trousers for the first time, the lining tore, and the entire trousers ripped with it. The tailor denied having used defective lining and claimed he had purchased it from a reputable dealer. Salomo Mendes ruled that the tailor must bear the damage
