Hirsch Summary
In a community, money was collected through voluntary donations to buy wood, stones, and other building materials for the expansion of the synagogue. However, the king (or judge) prohibited the construction. The question arose about what to do with the purchased materials. Immanuel Oheb Abendana decides that they should be sold, and the proceeds should be used for a higher purpose of holiness.
