A man who had been ill for a long time and had taken various medicines without success passed a piece of a worm while urinating. The doctor then prescribed another medicine for him. When this also remained ineffective, the doctor prescribed that he should consume a portion of the crushed worm with water. Jacob ben Salomo de Meza permits him to take this remedy.
