Hirsch Summary
Inquiry by Jacob ben Salomo de Meza: In a Torah scroll, in verse IV, 24,5, ????? the letters ? and ? were swapped, so a name of God was written. Can this, since it is only mistakenly present, be erased? Samuel Mendes de Sola decides that considering the scribe may have had the deliberate intention to write the name of God even in the wrong place, the solution is to cut out the portion or even better, replace the entire parchment sheet.
