Someone received a sum of money from a relative to establish a Yeshiva, where Torah would be studied both during the day and at night. The heirs and the executor of the will preferred to use the money to provide dowries for some orphan girls of the family and inquired whether they could do so, especially as the money was still intact. Joseph ben Moses Alvarez denies permission.
