Hirsch Summary
In a woman's ketubah, it was stated that she could only claim the entire amount of the ketubah if twice that amount was in the estate; otherwise, she would only be entitled to half of the estate. Since this was the case, there were differences of opinion as to whether the woman could demand easily liquidated assets or whether she should receive half of all items, pledges, goods, silver, etc. Abraham ben David Fernandez decides in favor of the latter view.
