Hirsch Summary
A Kohen could only speak softly due to a vocal cord ailment. The question arose whether he could still recite the priestly blessing, which is to be spoken aloud. In the event of a negative answer, it was asked whether the Kohen had to leave the synagogue during this part of the service. Moses ben David Rodrigues Lopes explains that the Kohen may recite the blessing.
