Hirsch Summary
The debtors of a deceased person all redeemed their promissory notes. Only one claimed that he had already paid the entire debt specified in the promissory note, while the very accurate business records showed only a partial payment recorded. The record matched the statement of one heir who was active in the business. David ben Raphael Meldola rules that the heirs must swear, and then, in case of swearing, the debtor must pay the remainder. (see 766)
