Hirsch Summary
Regarding the repair of a Tetragrammaton in an old Torah scroll (3 letters were still intact, and only the 4th was damaged), the scribe did not have the necessary intention. Abraham ben David Fidanque decides that the scroll is usable since it is doubtful whether the letter was still legible. However, if the scribe is not reassured by this, he should replace the entire parchment (?????) and bury the old one.
