Hirsch Summary
Someone had guaranteed a loan for his son. After the son's death, he took possession of the entire estate, as he expected to be called upon due to the guarantee. The daughter-in-law, therefore, had nothing from which she could claim her Kethuba. Joseph Piza rules that the father-in-law's actions are legally justified.
