A guardian sued someone at the Beth Din based on a document for payment of a certain sum. However, the court ruled based on the document that the defendant not only owed nothing to the children but also ordered them to return a document. When the children reached adulthood, they demanded compensation from their guardian for this loss. Isaac Saruco dismissed the children's claim.
