A had rented a house to B. B requested that A make some repairs before moving in, but A refused. A then assumed that B considered the contract void due to this refusal and subsequently rented the house to C. However, on the moving day, it turned out that B wanted to occupy the house. Jacob Chiskija ben Chacham David Israel Athias resolved the various disputes as follows: B has a right to the house, and C would have a claim against A for compensation only if A had rented a house to C or owned multiple houses.
