Hirsch Summary
Two witnesses testified that a man who had gone on a journey had died. In response, with the court's consent, the woman and her sons married off the underage daughter. However, the father was still alive and returned home. He contested the marriage and wanted to reclaim his daughter, who was still a minor. Jacob ben Abraham Bassan affirmed the father's right, declaring the marriage entirely void.
