A gave the broker B the task of buying a certain commodity at 20 gulden per pound. When B was leaving A, he met C, who instructed him to sell the same commodity at 18 gulden. The broker asked what should be done with the 2 gulden difference. Juda Piza decided that the broker should declare in the presence of witnesses that he was refusing to execute both orders and would return the orders unfulfilled to their respective clients. Then he would be free to execute them at 19 gulden
