Hirsch Summary
A widower who married a widow lost his father immediately after the wedding but before consummating the marriage. Moses Alvares rules that it does not matter whether the newlyweds were previously married or not when deciding whether the marriage can be consummated immediately. The widower may consummate the marriage before the funeral but must observe private mourning practices during the remaining wedding days.
