Hirsch Summary
A wanted to buy 100 liters of cinnamon (×§× ×™"ל×) of the best quality from spice merchant B. However, as B only had a lower grade in stock, A bought 100 liters of this for 100 Sus, but on condition that if B got the better quality later, he would supply A with 100 liters of it at market price; in return, A would return the lower-grade goods. When the better quality arrived, the lower grade was only worth a quarter of a Sus. B wanted to credit only this price, while A claimed credit for 100 Sus. Samuel ben Salomo a'Cathan suggests they either share the price difference or annul the entire contract.
