Dedication page of Abraham ben David Fidanque. Inquiry of Moses Rodrigues Lopes about a joint venture. A and B conducted a joint business. Due to the dishonest behavior of a third party, who had given them a bag of money as security - but it later turned out to be mostly filled with stones - both lost 600 guilders. After years, B managed to apprehend the perpetrator and recover 300 guilders through legal proceedings. The question arose whether half of this amount belonged to A, even though the partners had separated and settled the loss years ago. Abraham Fidanque affirms the question.
