Hirsch Summary
Someone stipulated on his deathbed that his sons should provide a weekly allowance of 20 guilders indefinitely to his unmarried daughter - he also had a married one. When the daughter got married, the brothers refused to continue paying the allowance. Moses ben Samuel Israel rules that the obligation to pay is not necessarily affirmed by the wording of the will. Therefore, while the sister cannot demand the allowance, she is entitled to a dowry equal to what her sisters received.
