Regarding the Worm in the Cooking Pot: In a pot where meat and vegetables were cooking, a worm fell in. A child claimed to have removed the worm. Jacob b. Abraham Bassan considers the child's statement, especially if the child is sensible, to be significant. However, even without this statement, he would have allowed the dish to be consumed.
