PEH102
Hirsch Summary
A bequeathed his granddaughter C, the daughter of B, 1,000 florins in cash, as well as movable property and real estate each valued at 1,000 florins, on the condition that she marry her uncle D. She married another man, who soon passed away. Following her father's advice, the young widow decided to marry her uncle D. Shortly after her father's death, she claimed not only the 3,000 florins that her father had promised her, but also the inheritance from her grandfather A, especially since her father had also said that by marrying D, the inheritance would come to her. However, Menasse Delgado ruled that the widow could not claim her grandfather's inheritance.
