Hirsch Summary
Someone had bequeathed legacies for ten Torah scholars and for an orphanage, while leaving the remaining estate to a nephew. Since this nephew did not visit him at all during his illness, he wrote under this part of his will-this provision appeared first-that he revokes it. He then dictated a new will to a scribe, in which he declared that he revokes all the provisions made and designates another nephew as the heir. He made no mention of the foundations in the new will. As a result, a dispute arose over the legacies between the heir and the overseers of the orphanage and Torah studies. Moses Gomes de Mesquita rejects the overseers' claims.
