An experienced ritual slaughterer (Schochet) used to examine the lungs while they were still inside the animal to detect any abnormalities immediately. In the present case, the Schochet declared the animal fit for consumption. Another person re-examined the animal, found moisture in the obstructed area, and wanted to declare the animal fit.
