Hirsch Summary
A man suffered an injury. According to the doctors, he needed surgery; otherwise, a fatal outcome was likely. However, the patient refused to undergo the operation. On the Sabbath, a friend visited him and persuaded him to proceed with the surgery. Considering that the patient might later regret his decision, the question arises whether the operation can be performed on the Sabbath. Salomo Saruco affirms that the operation can indeed take place on the Sabbath.
