Hirsch Summary
Must a pan purchased from a non-Jew for baking pastries be immersed in boiling water or heated until it glows to make it fit for use? How does a similar case apply to Passover? Salomo Saruco ruled that in the first case, it should be heated until it glows, and in the second case, it should be boiled. See reference 679.
