Hirsch Summary
Of the four sons of a deceased person, A and B each received a house as a godparent's gift from their maternal grandfather. The father collected rent from these houses and kept it for himself. Similarly, the father took the salary earned by son C (500 florins annually), and son D, whom he claimed would bring in at least 1,000 florins annually in business, received no salary from him. When A and B sought restitution for the withheld rent from the estate, C and D also claimed unpaid salaries. Abraham ben Jacob de Salomo de Meza rejected all special claims, and the sons divided the inheritance equally.
