Someone specified 12,000 florins in his will for the dowries of three orphan girls in his city. However, the seven community leaders could not find worthy orphans. When the orphan girls who lived in the city at the time of the deceased’s death had passed away and no girl was currently eligible for the bequest, the heirs demanded the return of the money.
