Hirsch Summary
A widow wanted to use jewels from her deceased husband's estate for her dowry. The son of the deceased objected, arguing that his father had properly gifted the jewels during his lifetime, reserving only the right of use until his death. Dr. Aron Ledesma rules that the widow may keep the jewels if she cannot be compensated otherwise. Refer to sections 520 and 618. (see also 237 and 293)
