A butcher discovered a lung thread in an animal that was slaughtered along with several others. Without further examination, the butcher declared the animal treifah (improperly slaughtered). After the animals were already distributed to different shops, it turned out that the assistants had overlooked the butcher's instructions. Moses Alvares permits all the animals. This ruling applies even if each shop received a whole animal and would still apply even if the animal was definitely treifah.
