Hirsch Summary
A messenger collected a debt for a client in another city; he was to receive compensation for this but did not need to take responsibility. He used part of the received money to buy things for himself. Upon delivery of the money, something was missing, and the messenger could not say whether the difference was due to an error in collecting or in purchasing or to loss. Abraham Raphael ben Chajim Albergue absolved the messenger from liability.
