The inquiry from Belgrade, mostly in Spanish, concerns the evaluation of a non-Jew's testimony. He precisely recounted how Elia b. David, who had called himself Ala Elia Albachari after leaving Judaism, was shot in a café in Temesvar after a dispute. The testimony, attested by Nathan ben Jacob Trinak and Isaac ben Chajim Hakohen and written down by Isaac Adnia, Aaron ben Judah, and Abraham Omer on the 3rd of Sivan 5525, is deemed by Moses ben Samuel Israel sufficient to allow the widow (Benbenida) to remarry.
