Hirsch Summary
Someone promised their future son-in-law, "I'll give you 10,000 florins, that is, in ducats, as a dowry." But by the time of payment, ducats had depreciated by 5% against florins. The son-in-law then insisted on receiving florins instead of ducats. Abraham Fernandez allowed the father-in-law to pay in ducats. See 476 for reference.
