Hirsch Summary
A silk weaver wanted to buy raw silk from a non-Jew. The weaver made an arrangement with a friend: the friend would pay the non-Jew for the silk and store it in their house. The weaver planned to buy the silk by the pound at a higher price than the purchase price. Is this procedure against the prohibition of interest (usury)? The physician David ben Jacob de Meza affirms that it is.
