Hirsch Summary
Someone used to give their tithe alternately to their friends A and B or even share it between them. During a significant and daring business transaction, they chose one of these two but later forgot which one it was. Meir ben Abraham Hakohen Alfassi [originating from Fez, see No. 441] ruled that they should only divide the tithe among themselves. However, if they wanted to be very precise, they should give each person what would have been their maximum share. Meir also mentioned the death of the rector Rabbi David Israel Athias, who passed away on the 16th of Adar II.
