Hirsch Summary
Meir Hakohen inquires about an oral testament made by someone on their deathbed: 'Give all my property to my sons!' The deceased had only one son but several daughters. Are the daughters considered equal to the son based on the testament? Would the decision be different if only the son's son (grandson) were alive, but the son was not? Samuel ben Salomo a'Cathan rules that the inheritance belongs exclusively to the son or, if applicable, his descendants.
