Hirsch Summary
A woman had three miscarriages. When she became pregnant for the fourth time, she wanted to keep it secret due to fear of the evil eye. She falsely claimed to her husband that she had become ritually impure. When her husband asked why she didn't go to the ritual bath (mikveh) at the usual time for purification, she revealed the true situation. Should the husband believe the woman and consider her ritually pure? The physician David ben Jacob de Meza declares the woman to be ritually pure.
