Hirsch Summary
In a court, among many chickens, a bone fracture was found at the midpoint of the bone where the veins intersect. The bone was protruding. It was unclear whether the fracture occurred before or after ritual slaughter (schachten). During the slaughter and preparation, nobody noticed anything. Physician David ben Jacob de Meza ruled that if the veins were still intact, the meat was permissible. See reference 428.
