Hirsch Summary
Another inquiry from Moses Alvares involved a woman whose marriage contract stipulated that upon her husband's death, she would receive 20,000 gulden and all her jewelry. The husband's heirs disputed whether this also applied to the valuable jewelry items he had purchased for her during their marriage. Moses Gomes de Mesquita ruled in favor of the husband's heirs.
