Question Summary
The status of food and pots using two pieces of meat, kashered mistakenly together because one piece had already been kashered before.
Question Full
In a small town the Jews get their kosher meat from a nearby larger town, it happened that one of them took a few days before a holiday a piece of meat which he properly salted and washed and then placed it in a cold place for use on the holiday. On the eve of the holiday he took another piece just like it. The Jewish servant did not know that the first piece had already been there a few days, so she took the two pieces and salted them both together, and on the first day of the holiday she cooked both pieces in a pot with water and vegetables as usual, and also took from the fat and placed it inside other dishes. And in the afternoon just before the meal they recognized the error, and the master of the house came to ask the rabbi about what to do with the foods and the pots they were cooked in.
